When a spot gold pending order that was originally in the order list suddenly disappears, many users first suspect a software malfunction. In fact, the removal of a pending order from the active order list may stem from various scenarios. The first step is to check the order history, instead of immediately placing an identical new pending order.

I. The Pending Order Has Reached the Target Price

The simplest scenario is that the market has hit the corresponding trigger condition.

A pending order is designed to wait for a specific price in the future. Once the trigger condition is met, the status of the original pending order changes, so it will no longer remain in the pending order list.

At this point, you may check your current positions and historical transaction records.

II. The Order Was Previously Cancelled Manually

Pending orders on Lucky Gold are valid until manually cancelled by the user, triggered by price, or terminated under specific account conditions.

If the user deleted the order on mobile or desktop, the pending order will no longer remain active.

When placing many trades, it is easy to forget whether you have performed this operation, so checking the history is the most direct method.

III. Insufficient Available Funds in the Account at the Moment of Triggering

This is a commonly overlooked scenario.

When a pending order is created, it merely waits for a future price level. When the market actually reaches the target level to open the position, the account status may differ from the day the pending order was set.

If the available funds at that time fail to meet the requirements for this new order, Lucky Gold will cancel the corresponding pending entry order.

MetaTrader uses a similar logic. If account conditions cannot support the corresponding market operation when a pending order is triggered, the order will be cancelled and moved to the history log.

IV. Will Weekend Market Closure Trigger Automatic Cancellation

Normally, orders will not be cancelled simply because the weekend arrives.

Lucky Gold keeps entry pending orders, take-profit and stop-loss pending orders active during market closure.

Therefore, if an order disappears right before the weekend, check the order status and account records first instead of attributing the issue directly to the market holiday.

V. Does Good-Till-Cancelled Mean It Will Never Be Cancelled

No.

"Good-Till-Cancelled" means there is no fixed daily or weekly expiry date. It does not mean the order will remain active permanently regardless of any circumstances.

Pending orders on Lucky Gold can be kept active, but they may still end due to manual cancellation by the user, price triggering, or unsatisfied account conditions upon triggering.

Therefore, the accurate interpretation of Good-Till-Cancelled is "no fixed calendar expiry time".

VI. How to Investigate After Discovering a Missing Pending Order

It is recommended to follow this sequence:

1. Check current positions

2. Check order history

3. Verify whether the pending order was triggered

4. Check if manual cancellation was performed

5. Review account status at the time of triggering

6. Record the order number and enquire via 24-hour online customer service

Lucky Gold provides 24-hour online customer service. If you have questions about order records, you may provide the order number for further verification.
