Gold Bottoms and Rebounds, Stabilizing Above 4,410-4,420 Is Key

Market Overview: Early Drop Reverses into Rally, Bulls Retest 4,400 Mark

Gold traded lower before staging a recovery today, touching an intraday trough near 4,341 before rapidly stabilizing and mounting a sustained rebound to peak near 4,413, successfully reclaiming the 4,400 psychological benchmark. Compared with yesterday's choppy consolidation around 4,380-4,420, today's key development is the swift recovery following a breakdown to new lows, demonstrating clear lack of bearish continuation as bulls attempt to regain control.

However, current price action remains classified as a corrective counterattack rather than an established bullish resumption. The 4,410-4,420 zone represents the critical evening bull-bear watershed; only a decisive breakout and hold above this band will unlock further upside potential.

Technical Analysis: 1-Hour Chart Strengthens, 4-Hour Faces Final Resistance

On the 1-hour chart, gold has rebounded steadily from the 4,341 low to trade near 4,402, having reclaimed the MA1, MA20, and MA30. Short-term moving averages are curling upward, with the MA20 and MA30 converging near 4,383, confirming that the 4,380-4,385 zone has transitioned from prior resistance into short-term support.

While the 1-hour structure has markedly improved, today's high near 4,413 has yet to be cleared, keeping evening focus on the 4,410-4,420 zone. Sustained trade above this band would confirm higher swing highs and lows, opening pathways toward 4,430 and 4,450.

The 4-hour chart suggests caution. Although prices have reclaimed the MA1 and MA20, they are testing the downward-sloping MA30. The 4,410 area aligns with moving average resistance, cautioning against chasing longs despite an intraday advance of over $40.

Failure to breach 4,410-4,420 could see prices revert to a range-bound environment.

Evening Trading Strategy: Buy on Dips, Avoid Chasing Highs

• Core Strategy: If gold pulls back toward the 4,392-4,400 region and stabilizes, consider short-term long opportunities with stops referenced below 4,380. Targets aim first at 4,410-4,420, extending toward 4,430-4,450 upon a breakout.

• Secondary Defense: If a deeper pullback develops during the evening session, closely monitor secondary support around the 4,380-4,385 band.

Overall, gold has completed a sharp technical rebound from the 4,341 low, but the ultimate expansion of bullish momentum hinges entirely on whether 4,410-4,420 can be decisively broken and sustained. Until confirmed, treat the market as an ongoing corrective bounce within a broader range.
